City of Vallejo Opens Warming Center at Vallejo Navigation Center
Vallejo, CA — The City of Vallejo announces the opening of a Warming Center located at the Vallejo Navigation Center to provide safe, warm overnight shelter during the winter season.
On January 13, 2026, the Vallejo City Council unanimously approved an amendment to the operator agreement with Five Keys Schools and Programs, expanding its scope of work to include Warming Center operations.
Funding for the Warming Center is provided through Cycle 8 Participatory Budgeting funds from the voter-approved Basic Needs for Warming and Cooling Centers project.
The Warming Center will be open beginning January 15, 2026, and will operate for up to 75 consecutive days, through March 2026.
