We are sharing a friendly reminder with our unhoused community that the Point-in-Time (PIT) count will take place on Thursday, January 29.

Starting at 7:00 AM, local volunteers will be entering encampment sites where unhoused individuals and families are known to reside. The volunteers will conduct a demographic survey. Participation in the survey is voluntary. An accurate Point-in-Time (PIT) count provides crucial data for understanding, and addressing homelessness, helping communities provide services, track progress, raise public awareness, and secure funding to better assist our community.

We still need volunteers to conduct the surveys. For more information on this volunteering, click here: https://www.housingfirstsolano.org/hic-pit-count-2/
