Outline for first-stage review project write-ups 

 

First stage proposals are approximately 500 words and must include Budget Delegate contact name, phone and email, and names of other delegates and staff liaisons working on the proposal. In addition, the proposal should outline the following: 

 

 

  • Project Title 

 

  • Description of the project 

 

  • Project Source Code(s)—(The code number of the idea or ideas from the list of Vallejo community members’ ideas. Please include the codes of all ideas that your project is based upon.)  

 

 

  • Name of Implementing Partner (The city or nonprofit partner that will be able to implement your project idea) 

 

 

  • Need – Describe how and why the project addresses an unmet need, void, or lack of resources in the community.  

 

 

 

 

  • Benefit – Identify the direct (if possible, specific demographic groups, schools, etc.) and indirect beneficiaries and how residents, program participants or the City of Vallejo will benefit.
