The Vallejo Sister City Commission's purpose is to promote greater global understanding of other cultures and to grow relationships with sister cities and friendship cities through cultural and educational exchanges. Vallejo's current 6 Sister Cities include Bagamoyo, Tanzania; Akashi, Japan; Jincheon, South Korea; Baguio, Philippines; LaSpezia, Italy; and Trondheim, Norway. Our 4 Friendship Cities include Muju, South Korea; Rota, Northern Mariana Islands; Ensenada, Mexico; and Parun, Afghanistan.     This half-hour video demonstrates the beauty and unique nature of a traditional Japanese tea ceremony. The video was created by the Vallejo Sister City Association and Sister Cities of Northern California in 2020, in collaboration with the Perry family of Vallejo.
