Measure P Oversight Committee
Applicants seeking a district-specific appointment must reside in the applicable district:
- District 3: One vacancy for a term expiring two years from the date of appointment
- District 6: One vacancy for a term expiring October 10, 2028
- At-Large: One vacancy for a term expiring two years from the date of appointment
Police Oversight and Accountability Commission
- District 2: One vacancy for a four-year term beginning on the date of appointment. Applicants must reside in District 2.
- District 3: One vacancy for a four-year term beginning on the date of appointment. Applicant must reside in District 3.
- Youth Alternate: One at-large vacancy for a two-year term beginning on the date of appointment
Participatory Budgeting Steering Committee
- Two member vacancies
- Three alternate vacancies
- All terms expire June 30, 2027
Sister City Commission
- Three vacancies for terms expiring June 30, 2030
Eligibility and Service Requirements
In most instances, applicants must reside within the City of Vallejo. Information about each advisory body’s responsibilities and any specific qualifications for appointment is included with its application. With some exceptions, appointments are generally for four-year terms.
Applicants must attend an interview to be considered for appointment. Interview dates will be announced following the close of the application period.
Newly appointed members must file a Statement of Economic Interests, Form 700, within 30 days of assuming office. Members appointed to the following advisory bodies are exempt from this requirement:
- Beautification Commission
- Civil Service Commission
- Human Relations Commission
- Marina Advisory Committee
- Participatory Budgeting Steering Committee
- Sister City Commission
All new appointees must also complete AB 1234 Ethics Training and file a Certificate of Completion within six months of beginning their service.
Application Deadline
Completed applications and any required supplemental questionnaires must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Friday, October 9, 2026.
