Admiral Callaghan Lane Northbound Closure Extended Through May 2026

Please be aware that Admiral Callaghan Ln Northbound between Rotary Way and Turner Pkwy will be closed to remove and install PG&E gas transmission lines, along with new street improvements as part of the new Costco Project.

The northbound closure of Admiral Callaghan Lane between Rotary Way and Turner Parkway has been extended to mid-May 2026. The revised timeline is due to a combination of factors, including recent inclement weather, ongoing utility installation work beneath the roadway, as well as the bridge expansion work in the project area to accommodate the new wider roadway. The project contractor continues to work diligently to complete the necessary improvements and reopen the roadway as soon as safely possible.

The street improvements will include a bike lane, two northbound and two southbound travel lanes with a median, and a sidewalk.

Currently, there are message boards displayed on Admiral Callaghan Lane regarding the road work and to expect delays.

Note that there are two northbound detour routes.

1. Using Rotary Way to Cadloni Ln to Redwood Pkwy to Ascot Pkwy to Turner Pkwy to Admiral Callaghan Ln

2. Using Redwood Pkwy to Ascot Pkwy to Turner Pkwy back to Admiral Callaghan Ln
