When will I start getting bill delinquency notices?

If you have an unpaid balance on your bill, you will begin receiving shut-off notices as soon as the first week of April.

Is there financial assistance to help me pay my bill?

To support our customers who have been impacted by the pandemic, the City of Vallejo is offering flexible and extended no-interest payment plans to avoid service shutoff.

To arrange for your payment plan, please email waterbilling@cityofvallejo.net or call (707) 648-5400.

If I ignore the notices, when will my water be shut off?

Your water service will be stopped 60-days from your first notice.

I didn't have to pay my bill for 2020 and 2021, and I still had water service. Why?

On April 2, 2020, Governor Gavin Newsom signed an executive order that restricted water shutoffs to homes and small businesses while the State responded to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The order protected consumers who could not pay for their water service during the pandemic, relieving them of fear that their water service may be shut off for non-payment. However, that executive order water moratorium came to an end on December 31, 2021.

The City of Vallejo extended a grace period to their customers through March 31, 2022.
